Investigation Police Factory Area and Ghaziabad Police on Wednesday have claimed to arrest five members of Bahadur dacoit gang and Arif alias Chaudhary dacoit gangs, involved in the incidents of dacoity, street crimes, shop robbery, robbery, car and motorcycle snatching and stealing. The police also claimed to recover one hundred and 80 thousand rupees in cash, one motorcycle, four cell phone as well as illegal weapons from the possession of arrested accused men. According to the details, police teams after collecting particulars arrested five members including Irshad Hussain alias Shaday Shah, Akbar Shah, Zakir Hussain, Ayyub Sabir and Muhammad Asif. Police recovered Rs 180,000 in cash, one motorcycle, four cell phones and illegal weapons from them. Further investigations are underway. The arrested were identified as ringleader Irshad Hussain alias Shaday Shah, Akbar Shah, Zakir Hussain, Ayyub Sabir and Muhammad Asif.
Cleric’s son robbed: Some unidentified individuals snatched Rs 40,000 and a mobile phone from a son of senior and central leader of Jamaat Ahle Hadis Zubair Ahmed Zaheer during an attempt of kidnapping in the Chowki Firdos Market on Wednesday. As per details unidentified criminals stopped while Muhammad Muaz, son of senior and central leader of Jamaat Ahle Hadis Zubair Ahmed Zaheer was going towards Barkat Market from his home. The accused snatched Rs 40,000 in cash and mobile phone and later tried to kidnap Muhammad Muaz over which he offered resistance to them. On Muaz’s resistance, criminals escaped from the scene while threatening him for dire consequences. Chowki Firdos Market Police registered a case and started a probe.
