City Police Officer Ghulam Mahmood Dogar has threatened station house officers and investigation officers with stern action if they were found guilty of negligence. He presided over a meeting of SHOs of the district on Friday.
The meeting was also attended by SSP Investigations Shaukat Abbas, SP Civil Lines Ghulam Mubashar Mekin, SP Saddar Muhammad Shoaib Janbaz, SP City Rai Ijaz Ahmad and other officers. The CPO urged the police officers to get their act together and protect the life and property of citizens at all cost.
The CPO asked the SHO to get details of illegal Afghan refugees.
