Punjab Assembly Acting Speaker Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan has said that Pakistan is in dire need of trade instead of aid and initiative of the Punjab government should be followed by federal as well as other provincial governments.

He stated this while addressing a seminar at the Punjab University, Gujranwala Campus, which was chaired by Professor Dr Ihsan Malik. Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan reminded that Pakistan was a nuclear state, but was being hit by drones, which was not less than ridiculous.

He added Pakistan should change the policy of begging and it was a time to start restoration of sovereignty. He regretted that the policies of a dictator were being followed by the democratic government.
