The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) hosted a two-day workshop on “Prosperity through Entrepreneurship”, conducted by the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) on Sunday. The workshop was part of the first round of the Discover Business Plan Competition by NUST. Students from UVAS, COMSATS, UET and LUMS participated in the workshop. The purpose of the workshop was to share prospective business ideas of students from different universities of Lahore and select top three ideas for round two of the competition. NUST Innovation & Entrepreneurship Director Dr Qasim Sheikh explained the difference of creativity and innovation adding that” creativity dies before it takes the road of innovation”. UVAS Faculty of Life Sciences and Business Management (FLSBM) Dean Dr Ijaz Ahmed provided an assurance of collaboration to NUST for establishing innovative culture in the country.
