Sasti Roti scheme to spread its wings

Sasti Roti Scheme Punjab Chairman Hanif Abbasi MNA has announced that the target for setting up 300 mechanical tandoors will be achieved by the end of the current month in the province. He added that under the direction of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, “Dal and Sabzi Roti” is being provided at the rate of Rs 15 to 20 as a one-time meal to low-income people and industrial workers through 231 mechanical tandoors installed in the hotels situated in industrial and thickly populated poor areas and katchi abadis.
Hanif Abbasi said this during a meeting chaired by him in the committee room of the commissioner office to review the progress of Sasti Roti Scheme. The meeting was attended by Commissioner Tahir Hussain, MPA Khawaja Muhammad Islam and Rao Kashif Rahim, DCO Faisalabad Naseem Sadiq, DCO Jhang Shahid Niaz, DCO Toba Tek Singh Javed Iqbal Bukhari, DCO Chiniot Dr Irshad Ahmad, Punjab Small Industries Deputy Managing Director Maqsud Qadir Shah and a number of senior govt officials.
