Pakistan bridge squad to leave for Chennai on Monday

A strong 14-member Pakistan men’s and women’s squad is due to leave for Chennai en-route Mumbai on Monday to take part in the 16th Bridge Federation of Asia and Middle East (BFAME) being held there from May 26 to June 2. Pakistan finished runners-up in the last edition of the open championship. They also won the BFAME Seniors (Over-60) in Amman (Jordan) two years ago. squad
National Champions Data Steel would represent Pakistan in the event. Team also included Tehsin Gheewala, Tahir Masood, Jawed Miran, Hasan Askari and Hasan Jawwad. Tariq Rasheed Khan would be the non playing captain of the team. Pakistan women’s team comprised of Rubina Agha, Zeenat Azwer, Farida Ahmed, Shamim Mahmood, Fizza Adamjee and Qudsia Doosa.
