After long spell of scorching heat, the residents of Rawalpindi and Islamabad heaved a sigh of relief when light rain hit twin cities on Saturday bringing a pleasant change in weather.
Grey clouds had covered the sky since early morning on Saturday before light rain to the relief of people. The weather has also forced citizens to rush to parks and other recreational places.
People said it was a blessing that the weather had turned pleasant because it had become “impossible” to step out of homes in the scorching heat.
