Unknown gunmen kill 6 in Quetta

At least six people were shot dead and five others got injured in a firing by unknown gunmen on Wednesday in Quetta, police sources said.
According to police, unknown armed men opened fire at vegetable sellers in Kali Kaloo area in the outskirts of Quetta and fled after killing four on the spot and injuring seven others.
“A group of vegetable sellers riding on a single cabin vehicle loaded with vegetables was on their way to Quetta from vegetable market located in suburb of the provincial capital when unidentified armed men riding on bikes opened fire at them,” police said.
The seven injured included five vegetable sellers and two pedestrian.
Rescue teams rushed to the scene and moved the dead bodies and injured to hospitals while heavy contingents of police cordoned off the entire
area to trace out and arrest the militants.
Later, two more injured persons succumbed to their injuries during medical aid process in the hospital. Tension and fear gripped the entire area after the deadly shootout but neither attackers or victims have been identified yet.
On Tuesday, Pakistani security forces foiling suicide attacks killed five foreign militants including three women on an entrance to the Quetta city.
