Tax systems have become increasingly complex in recent decades. There is no such thing as a single tax. Tax is something imposed legally to public by a state, and such that failure to pay is to be punishable according to the law. Mostly taxes are levied on money. In return for taxes, government promises to offer good services to public so that the people benefit from various public welfare services. But here in Pakistan, the country’s tax-payers feel pressure and anxiety. They take it as a burden they have to bear because they do not get any facility or benefits in return. I request the government to minimise taxes and co-operate with the poor and middle class people.
