KBD is the key

IMF, World Bank and ADB have refused to come to Pakistan in the wake of uncertain situation created by the post-Osama incident. Meanwhile, Pakistan is burdened with serious financial crunch created by its unwise energy policy that ignores the vital importance of hydro-electric dams for generation of dirt cheap power for industry and water for irrigation. The die-hard resistance of smaller provinces to build Kalabagh dam has placed us in unenviable position wherein we have to beg all over the world for loans to steer the ship of state out of turbulent waters. What we need is a directly elected head of state. Here in Pakistan only the minority of population is holding hostage the majority.
