When the WikiLeaks disclosures spread the hot air all around, it was anticipated that it were only a prelude and that something special was in the pipeline. This impression is now getting strength as Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, has opened up the “Gitmo Files” according to which Dr Aafia Siddiqui, the Pakistani neuroscientist plotted to smuggle explosives into America and offered to manufacture biological weapons. The allegations, in sharp contrast to what Pakistanis believe, are a combination of US intelligence analysis and direct testimony by at least three senior al-Qaeda figures, including the 9/11 plotter Khalid Sheikh Muhammad (KSM). Another disclosure is attributed to KSM that Al-Qaeda will set off nuclear bomb in Europe if Osama bin Laden is caught. It has been told that an “invaluable source”, who posed to be the fellow prisoner at Gitmo, divulged exclusive information against 123 prisoners, has been freed.
This may however put an end to various reports speculated regarding Dr Aafia’s “actual crime” as the experts did not agree to buying the idea that the judges in US courts are not that blind to sentence her for 75 years but the case in point is that why the WikiLeaks disclosures have not stopped while its founder was arrested. This shows that the disclosures are by design, as declaring ISI in 2007 as a terrorist organization and dubbing “ISI-affiliate Lashkar-e-Taiba replacing al-Qaeda” is present in Europe and America, it is like tightening the noose against Pakistan army and its intelligence agency, ISI. America and CIA had been funding mujahideen against USSR but later dubbed them terrorists. The same CIA used ISI to train and launch the mujahideen, now they are dubbing the same ISI as terror organization. If the same rule is applied on CIA that funded the then mujahideen and now terrorist Taliban and ISI now ‘terror outfit’, it emerges as the biggest terror organization of the world. Doesn’t it? Is CIA that is responsible for killing around 1.4 million innocent people in Iraq and more than half million in Afghanistan, and around 62,000 people in Pakistan still not a terrorist organization?
