Imran Khan’s sit-in in Peshawar against the drone attacks was a strange event to witness. Not only was he successful in roping in politicians from other political parties, but also he was able to show some street power of his party. He is a vocal opponent of these Predator attacks but what is still a mystery is the end result of such protests. Will it mollify the US military and CIA which are operating these remotely controlled pilotless places?
A sit-in is a politically correct and peaceful method of protest but will it bear any fruit for the country is a question that might have to see a shake of the head instead of a nod.
