Almost all the departments of the country are being destroyed due to corruption. The reason that the public problems are still unsolved is that more attention is being paid towards corruption rather than serving the people.
Since there is absence of accountability, corruption is spreading like cancer. If a weak person gets indulged in even a minor corruption, he is penalised. However, if a strong person is found involved in major corruption cases, no action is taken against him.
It often happens that one who is more corrupt is presented as a hero. Many problems are solved through illegal means. The illegal use of lawful rights is a main form of corruption. Often poor performance is presented on papers as excellent performance due to which corrupt people are encouraged and intelligent, hardworking and loyal people are discouraged.
The solution of corruption is implementing the merit system in the country. There are many people who would never leave path of loyalty even if they are forced to. Such people should be motivated and action should be taken against the corrupt people. Eradicating the culture of corruption is the most important issue to be solved today.
