PESHAWAR – Top seed and Pakistan No.1 Aqeel Khan navigated his way into the Chief of the Air Staff Khyber Open Tennis Championship. Aqeel Khan won to qualify for the grand final against his younger brother Jalil Khan, like the last year, when Aqeel Khan won the final. Aqeel has won all the CAS titles since 1999, with only a break in 2009 when the tournament was not held.
“I feel confident and I know I can win this time too against Jalil,” a confident Aqeel Khan said. “If I win this time it would be the 12th consecutive year,” Aqeel remarked.
His brother Jalil Khan said he would try his best to beat Aqeel.
