LAHORE – Anti-Vehicles-Lifting Staff (AVLS) Iqbal Town Division claimed to arrest three car lifters of Ijaz Ahmed Car lifter gang, including the ringleader and seized eight cars and one motorcycle worth Rs 3.5 million from their possession on Tuesday. The arrested were identified as ringleader Ijaz Ahmed, Muhammad Ishfaq alias Shaka and Muhammad Sabir.
The police said that the suspects confessed to fifteen cases of car lifting during preliminary interrogation. Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Muhammad Aslam Tareen announced cash prizes and commendatory certificates for the police team.
