Headway for police

The initial investigations into the Sakhi Sarwar attack has revealed useful information, particularly from the young boy named Umar, who survived after his vest didnt explode properly.

Police is confident that the perpetrators would be arrested soon. However, the role of police in providing security to the devotees remains questionable. If only proper security had been provided, this attack would have been avoided. Police must concentrate on avoiding such incidents by boosting up security, particularly at shrines.

Sufi saints had a major role in spreading the message of peace and thats the reason why they gained respect of people from other religions as well. Enforcing an exported version of Islam and that too by use of force will only play a role in developing hatred against the forces providing impetus to these attacks.
