There are no proper housing facilities available for the police. They are mostly found to be fending for themselves when they are posted at various locations. It is important that as other government departments provide housing facilities to their employees, the police should be given these facilities on priority. The department of police should take the initiative themselves in developing colonies for their employees to stay or provide them with a proper allowance to hire on rent and also accommodate their families.
As law and order is the foremost issue in Pakistan, facilitating police personnel will assist in improving their performance and morale.
