It is unwise to make education entirely a provincial subject. It is not an exaggeration to say that education comes at the top of the factors and forces on which the progress and rise of a nation depends. Actually, educations role is even more crucial, considering the part it plays in the mutual integration of the different classes and communities that constitute the nation, and in building in them national spirit and motivation. It must remain a federal subject and of top priority.

It is in fact dangerous to give up federal control over education in the current conditions when national unity and cohesion is under severe pressure from a host of factors. Provinces are in no position to monitor and control it on their own.
