KARACHI – The mutilated bodies of a man and a woman, both in their 20s, were found in the bushes near Hamdard University within the jurisdiction of the Surjani police station on Monday. Police shifted the bodies to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities. The identity of the victims could not be ascertained until the filing of this report. Separately, a man was shot dead by unidentified armed men in Mochko area.
Police said that 50-year-old Asghar Ali was gunned down in Mochko No 2. The body was taken to the Civil Hospital Karachi for legal formalities. In another incident, a man was shot and injured near the Bhens Colony area in Landhi. Police said that Farman suffered multiple bullet injuries when unidentified men opened fire on him. The injured was rushed to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.
