The government seems to have done nothing to stop child labour. Pakistan is facing many social problems but some are very common in Pakistan which are destroying our society as well as our economy like, child labour, poverty, illiteracy, population growth, terrorism, smuggling, drug abuse.
A large majority of our country’s total population is living below the poverty line in which the people are deprived of basic necessities of life like clothing, shelter, food, education and medication. Children of this class are forced to become labourers or workers in order to survive. Unfortunately, our people are not aware of the importance of education. Parents, and the society overall, should pay attention to the education of their children.
If we want to succeed, we should provide education free of cost first of all to the poorest of the poor.
