LAHORE – The Pakistan Cricket Board held a reception at the National Cricket Academy late Wednesday night to recognise the success of the Lahore City Cricket Association teams at various levels in the ongoing domestic season.
Ex-Chairman PCB Shahryar Khan was the chief guest on the occasion and distributed cash prizes to Lahore Lions, Lahore Eagles and the Lahore U19 Women’s team. President LCCA Khawaja Nadeem Ahmed received the cheques on behalf of LCCA.
In addition, Chairman PCB Ijaz Butt also announced a cash prize of Rs 250,000 to be awarded to the eventual winners of the ongoing Pentangular Trophy being played at Gaddafi Stadium.
Butt, in his address, highlighted the efforts of PCB in promoting cricket at the grass roots level and apprised the guests of the efforts that PCB has been making for the improvement of domestic cricket.
