It has been reported recently that the security departments have expressed their inability to screen guards on VIP duties. After such high profile assassination incidents within this year, it is the duty of the government to provide necessary facilities to the police to can carry out a comprehensive screening throughout the department.
The recruitment method in addition should also be scrutinised and improved so that only qualified applicants are chosen for the job. It is imperative that the police should be cleared of such elements so that the public trust can be restored in it.
