KARACHI – The Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) on Sunday announced staging a countrywide protest on March 11 against the murder of its leader Maulana Ahmed Madni, who was targeted in New Karachi along with his son on Saturday night. Addressing a press conference, ASWJ Central Information Secretary and Karachi President Maulana Aurangzaib Farooqui said that a small group, with the support of foreign forces, was responsible for killing ASWJ activists. He warned staging protests for an indefinite period if the government failed to bring the culprits to task.
