Pakistan is a country that possesses a unique geo-strategic position which affects its administration. Owing to this fact, the issue of FATA cannot be decided in just one day.
Government has to establish its writ there. It has to give it the status of an A-area and rule it through common law as applicable in whole Pakistan, instead of FCR. The government has already constituted committees in this regard. But to bring drastic changes and begin with developmental projects, the time will take its course as it is not possible to develop this war ravaged area in a short span of time.
