Pakistan has won its first match against Kenya in the ongoing Cricket World Cup 2011 by a humongous margin of 205 runs. However, one should not be ecstatic over this victory. The fact of the matter is that Kenya, the lowest ranked team and the only one with zero ranking, was able to send both our openers to pavilion with just 12 runs on the board. They accomplished this in 6.5 overs. This meant that our players, one of whom was a much experienced one, were scoring at a rate of less than two runs per over. This was a pathetic start against a team that gave a record 46 extra runs in 50 overs.

We hope the players who failed in this match give us a better show in the upcoming matches. Congratulations, nonetheless.
