Mr Shah Mahmood Qureshi took a bold stand in his press conference about the immunity case of the murderer Raymond. He did not say anything different than what the record in Foreign Office said about the case. He explained the same to the committee on 31st Jan 2011. People like Rahman Malik, Raja Pervez Ashraf and Fauzia Wahab are different kinds of politicians who have learnt to say what their bosses want them to say irrespective of the truth.

The US should stop bullying its friends; Ever since FM Ayub Khan, a great friend of the US, did not attack India in 1962 Indo-China war to liberate Kashmir on the request of President J F Kennedy, Pakistan has been at the receiving end of constant pressure and demands from the US. Pakistani leaders/dictators have always supported the US but in turn got the arrogant/bullying attitude. If Hillary had some vision; she would not have threatened the Pakistani Foreign Minister to sign the immunity paper, else not come to Munich.

It is high time that the US stops treating its friends like their chattels. By being humble you can achieve much more than being arrogant. By arrogance& bullying you might gain in the short term but always loose out in the long run. The US wonders why it is hated. What happened to the USA in Tunis & Egypt and in the rest of the Arab world? FM Ayub Khan ex-President wrote in his book that people in developing nation want friends, not masters.

The US must learn that the World is changing fast. China has bailed them out with financial aid. You respect the law of your friends if you want others to respect yours. People Power is now dictating what is to be done in the best interest of their country.

Mr Shah Mahmood holding a press conference immediately after meeting John Kerry should be an eye opener for all. Learn with open mind instead of shooting in the foot.
