Child labour

Child labour is increasing day by day due to many reasons. One of them is the familys financial situation. A child cannot access the school because of poverty. In order to make the family survive, as a member in the family, a child is forced to work. To avoid this, government has made several schemes including midday meal scheme. But the school dropouts are large in number because education has no role in their life except surviving. Since poor are becoming poorer and rich the richer, children have no other option but to work.

Poverty is the most common factor contributing to the child labour. Child labour is not an easy issue to resolve even though it seems noble to immediately withdraw investments and cooperation with firms and factories that employ child.

Child labour may do more harm than good. Children have the right to live like normal people. They too have desires and dreams to fulfil. They should be brought to the front and encouraged.
