I would like to draw the attention of the concerned authorities on the issue of celebrating commercial festivals like Valentines Day and Basant.
Firstly, when our country is facing such crisis, our youth should be directed towards a path to productive thinking and creativity rather than having them waste their precious time and money on such events, which are not only useless but are not even part of our culture, society and religion.
Media plays an important role in promoting events. It should play a positive role in this regard.
I believe these events are more for commercial purposes. I hope the public will bring pressure on those responsible so that such activities should be put to an end.
