This is with reference to an alarming situation in the metropolitan city Lahore that the government obviously seems to be ignorant of. There are many rikshaws and other vehicles that are using CNG and LPG as fuel. They use cylinders for this purpose which can prove to be bombs if they are not prepared by following strict safety measures. Most of them are even defective. It is requested to the government to take a note of the situation so that no incident happens that causes some fatalities or injuries. The government should also set up a monitoring body comprising of all the stakeholders to lay down rules in this regard. Such simple steps would ensure the safety and security of peoples life and property while not causing any dent in the livelihood of the people connected to this line of work.
