Recently a number of police pickets have been removed from Islamabad which is a clear indication that the security situation of the capital has improved.
Police is vital for the security of the public. During the past few years the security across the country was beefed up to deal with any untoward incident. It was also a common observation that people complained about the extra police pickets and the delays that they caused while travelling. Now the condition is starting to improve. It is also important to mention here that the citizen-police interaction also holds a central position in improving the security of our cities.
