PM visits Aeronautical Complex in Kamra

LAHORE – Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani on Tuesday visited the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC), Kamra where he witnessed the remarkable progress made in co-production of the JF-17 aircraft. Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Chairman General Khalid Shameem Wynne and Pakistan Air Force (PAF) chief Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman were also present on the occasion while the defence, acting defence production and finance ministers and the State Bank governor accompanied the prime minister.
Gilani was also given a presentation on the progress made on development and co-production of the JF-17 aircraft in Pakistan. The prime minister expressed his satisfaction on successful achievement of the JF-17 programme and pledged to provide full support for the project. “The JF-17 programme would certainly strengthen our time-tested friendship,” Gilani said.
