The Tahafuz Namoos-i-Risalat Mahaz has set its eyes on Valentines Day, February the 14th to raise its concern over the celebration of a day followed in the Western tradition.
Actually, it seems that the new party is trying to establish itself in the political arena. This is apparent because in spite of governments assurances of not amending the blasphemy law, the protests continue across the country.
Now it looks like the party has picked up a new issue to highlight. The Valentines Day represents love and harmony and is celebrated across the world. Pakistan is already surrounded by problems and it is not a responsible act to highlight further issues that are of little or no importance for the national interest.
