Dealing with Davis

I am unable to understand how much time the government needs for the Raymond Davis case. Why are they still unable to justify when each and every Pakistani knew that he is guilty and he should be punished. But it seems that the government is taking its time so that the people will blow out of steam and start moving on and forget about Raymond Davis. This will make releasing him easier since it can prove to be a very unpopular decision politically.

For once in its tenure, the government should take the right decision with out thinking about aid (money) from America (I guess which is the biggest concern of our government; after all, America is the Godfather of the Pakistani government). This is why Americans treat Pakistan with such imperial high-handedness and the Pakistani government finds it hard to assert its sovereignty in front of the US. The people of Pakistan do not have any expectations from the government but they do place some faith in the judicial system and expect them to serve the cause of justice in this case.
