LAHORE – Pakistan’s top ladies tennis player Ushna Suhail has passed her second fitness test against Sara Mansoor and is only a step away from selection in Pakistan Fed Cup team.
The final selection will be made on January 27. The top three players of the trial matches will play in the Fed Cup against Thailand at Bangkok.
In her last trial-cum-fitness match, Ushna will take on the country’s top ranked player Sara Mahboob, who herself missed the last couple of days of the camp training due to illness. In her second trial match Ushna had little problem in beating Sara Mansoor. She prevailed over her rival in straight sets 6-3, 6-3. Earlier, she beat Anusha in the opening trial match 6-1, 6-2.
