A few days back, an explosive-laden car the struck the Miryan police station on the outskirts of Bannu. At least 18 people were killed and 15 others wounded in a terrorist attack against the police force in North-Western Pakistan. Taliban linked militants have claimed the responsibility for this attack. The police stations are being attacked openly. This is not a good sign as when the police are not able to provide security for themselves, how are they going to provide security for the people? Security needs to be beefed up at sensitive areas as the terrorists are once again on the loose.
