Uncertainty in Pakistan cricket

Gone are the days when cricket was considered as a sacred sport and a game of passion. It is quite shocking for a cricket lover now to find it as a money-making machine nowadays. Apart from the hard fact that corruption prevails everywhere, cricket is a religion for the sport lovers and cricketers are supposed to be the cricketing prophets so they are bound to protect the spirit of cricket by hooks or by crooks.

When it comes to Pakistan cricket, our heroes have always been surrounded by so many controversies. Yet another flurry hit us when Mohammad Aamir, a mysterious Pakistani seamer was allegedly found in embroiled in spot fixing during the Lords Test back in August 2010. We were already in the state of shock over shifting of the venue of Cricket World Cup 2011 out of Pakistan. Pakistan cricket is in great turmoil these days.

The role of the International Cricket Council in this entire scenario has been quite full confusion. They have banned the players before finding them guilty.

Being a cricket lover, I tend to hold my opinion in quite a crystal clear manner. I strongly recommend that if Pakistani players prove to be involved in this corruption, then they must be met with iron hands. If it proves to be a planned drama to offend the dignity of our heroes, the guilty ones must get the actual punishment and the ICC along with all other concerned authorities must take steps to revive the dignity of Pakistan cricket.
