Two sides, same coin

Both PML(N) and PPP are now two sides of the same coin. Both are without any political ideology. Two committees have been formed by PML(N) chief and Prime Minister to implement the 10-point national agenda given by PML(N) to government to solve the problems faced by the country.

One of the items of the agenda is about the corruption which has now reached record level. Ironically, the committee members are among those who are facing serious charges of committing irregularities or corporation. How will these members address the issue of the rampant corruption? How can they take action against themselves? How long will our political leaders consider the people fool? The Chief Minister of Punjab and chief of PML(N) have welcomed the appointment of Latif Khosa as Governor of Punjab, forgetting that they were in forefront for his removal from the post of Attorney General due to charges of corruption.

Unfortunately, there are no moral standard in both the party leaders. To eradicate corruption an independent accountability institution is required with the resources of countrys all intelligence agencies at its disposal. And there should be across the board accountability of all the persons working in any state institutions.
