The report of Islamabad Police being mistreated by Punjab Police at Adiala Jail is a shocking development, in an already high profile case. The Capital Police had been escorting Malik Mumtaz Qadri back to Adiala Jail when they were refused entry into the jail premises, leaving many police staff exposed to danger. This incidence has exposed the level of cooperation among the police and also highlights the grudges they carry against each other. It is imperative for the greater public interest that police of all provinces and departments should be motivated to cooperate with each other and any grievances among them should be addressed.
