Transformation in police culture is the need of time and this is the high time for change in the police culture as the people are taking law into their own hands instead of believing in police. Unfortunately, in our part of the world a police officer thinks that violation of fundamental rights makes him a successful officer, and then he becomes rude and arrogant. In my point of view, a police officer should not be the judge and the investigator at the same time. Proper training institutions should be established and this module should be implemented all over Pakistan as the rural areas are suffering as far as the policing system is concerned.
