Due to the constant danger of terrorism and the factors promoting it, the role of police in our society has increased many folds.
It is also true that people dont feel comfortable when policemen stop them on check posts for regular security checks. The need of cooperation between police and citizens is needed more than ever. This will ensure a peaceful society that is mutually responsible. Police in our society never enjoyed support from the general public and has always been accused of corruption and dishonesty but it is time to change this culture. The responsible citizens of the society must promote a positive interaction with the police in order to counter problems that hinder our day to day activities.
