Counseling our leaders

After listening to the venomous obscenities coming out of the mouth of a fuming MNA, Wasim Akhtar, from Karachi and the former mayor Kamal, I suggest they go to Lucknow in India and seek some counseling and lessons in the art of making polite conversation and carry themselves with dignity. There was a time when Lucknow was the centre of culture in India, where children of men of means were sent to certain houses, where women of pleasure would coach them in how to converse, and carry themselves with poise and style.

These courtesans were respected by the elite families of the region. This was a time when these courtesans were respected like Geishas of Japan and were frequented by the scions of nawabs or men of letters and even poets. Maybe their training may teach these MNAs how to speak in public, tolerate dissent and criticism and learn how to control their rage.
