Lahore – Pakistan People’s Party Secretary General Jehangir Badr has said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is the only party which offered sacrifices for Pakistan, strengthening the federation.
Addressing a ceremony organized by People’s Lawyers Forum (PLF) in connection with the 63rd birth anniversary of Zulifqar Ali Bhutto at Karachi Hall of the Lahore High Court Bar Association, he said PPP and the federation were part and parcel, adding that the Zulfiqar’s vision helped strengthening the federation. He said PPP was ‘pioneer’ of economic and political revolution and will not inch away from the masses’ development agenda.
He alleged that capitalists were behind the present inflation who wanted to mint money but PPP would not allow it. He said political parties should work together for the county’s integrity. Punjab PLF President Tanveer Hashimi and PPP leaders; Munir Ahmad Khan, Nazim Husnain and Sohail Malik, also spoke on the occasion.
