My question as a concerned citizen is: what provoked a 25-year-old Elite Force Guard to assassinate the Governor of Punjab? What kind of motivation compelled him to destroy the future of his two-month-old son? Was he even thinking what would happen to his wife or other members of his family? These are the questions everyone should be asking.
It is not yet sure whether he acted on his own or was related to any organisation, but what we all know for sure is how much volatile our social fabric has become to extremism and intolerance. We will all have to strengthen our resolve to save the deteriorating social structure of our country.
