There are many issues that remain untouched and nobody takes notice of them. For example, there are many students who want to get admission in medical colleges in their cities but could not do so. Many brilliant students, either living in or outside of Pakistan, have to face many problems getting admissions in good colleges. These students, if lucky, clear the Entry Test and the fixed percentage to get admission. But even the students with excellent marks in their intermediate exams are left out. They cannot pursue their dreams and have to go for alternatives.For overseas and A Level students an equivalence formula is set up by which their grades cannot exceed a certain percentage which is unfair as many F Sc students get above 1000 marks. Then the merit list is prepared accordingly. Students who can afford to live in hostels and away from their families do move in to study. This problem was faced last year by those desirous of admission in medical colleges. Some are still unsure of when their session will start. If this carries on, like gas and electricity, we could soon be short of doctors too
