Though its a fact that the MQM has decided to sit on opposition benches, as did the JUI(F), and critics have started pointing towards the jolts that the government may face, it should not be forgotten that the beauty of democracy is all about tolerating voices of dissention and bringing all stakeholders in the democratic fold through amicable means. Letting the government alone at this time may not be too good an option.
The PPP governments efforts to bring back the coalition members is not a sign of weakness if analysed in longer run. All dissident parties should give a thought to what they will be gaining by weakening this govt. Wouldnt it strengthen anti-democratic forces which would be against to not only their interests but against Pakistans national interest also. To rise above party politics and self interest is the need of the hour.
