LAHORE – The Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) remained bullish on Thursday with an improvement in volume. The LSE 25-shares added 43.74 points to close at 3,730.62 against its opening at 3,686.88.
The volume of the market was 5.74 million shares, which was 1.34 million shares more than Wednesday’s turnover of 4.39 million shares. Out of 126 active scrips, 52 went up, 14 declined and 60 showed no change in their opening values.
Lotte Pakistan PTA was the volume leader with 1.01 million share turnover and it added Rs 0.57 to close at Rs 13.77 against its opening at Rs 13.20. National Bank of Pakistan was the second volume leader with 0.64 million shares turnover and it also added Rs 2.03 to close at Rs 75.95 against its opening at Rs 73.92.
National Refinery was the major gainer and it added Rs 12.89 to close at Rs 280 against its opening at Rs 267.11. Fauji Fertilizers Corporation was the major loser and lost Rs 1.55 to close at Rs 128.2077 against its opening at Rs 129.75.
