Pakistan has recently been exporting the vegetable to other countries which has led to a great price increase in the commodity in the domestic market. Any self-respecting capitalist will follow the basic rules of economics and sell onions to the place where the price is higher. But any self-respecting capitalist will also not take into account how a poor person will cook food for his children when a commoditys prices keep increasing. So the free market functioning at its best is the worst possible outcome for the suffering masses of Pakistan. Where are the regulatory bodies of the government when such practices are taking place?
