Should we really celebrate the launch of another missile by Pakistani forces the other day? Doesnt it defeat the purpose of having a welfare state? While 60 percent of the population is living under poverty line, the military is spending billions of rupees on these duds. Pakistans defence budget is well over US$ 7 billion which should ring some bells in the ears of the financial gurus of the country. It seems that Pakistan has really become a military with a country rather than a country with a military.
