I would like to commend all the police officers who have performed their duties during the Ashura of Muharram. These uniform clad officers deserve our support and commendation, instead of constant criticism from the public.
No doubt this institution needs reformation on a grand scale but the public also has to acknowledge its responsibilities. The police require all our support for the performance of their duties. Instead of creating hurdles in their daily duties, our cooperation and assistance is the key to success in removing the undesirables from our society. While the police have the responsibility of providing us with security, our society also has the obligation to provide voluntary services to the security apparatus through cooperation and support.
