KASUR – In a meeting with Member of Punjab Assembly (MPA) Naeem Safdar Ansari, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has announced a grant of Rs 500 million for the construction of Rohi drain in Kasur.
Naeem told the journalists that he demanded CM release some funds for the completion of under construction projects in the city. He thanked CM for granting a huge amount for the development of Kasur.
Killers arrested: Kasur police have claimed to arrest the accused who had killed a man during a robbery in the jurisdiction of Kot Radha Kishan Police Station. In a press conference, District Police Officer (DPO) Gohar Naffees said the accused Nadeem, Intzar and Nadeem looted cash, gold ornaments and mobile phone from Haider Ali and killed him when he resisted.
He added that the police had also recovered a pistol, an iron rod and Rs 5,000 cash from the accused.
